Marine USA Casting Contest

Marine USA, Worcester, MA held a two day Casting Kids event this past weekend March 25^th and 26^th, 2006.  Inside at the show the Casting Kids contest was in full swing with kids and parents having a great time.  All the kids learned about  the art of Flipping, Pitching and Casting.  We had two separate contests each day with two winners for each.  Congratulations to our two sets of winners on March 25, 2006, they were Ben Gustauson, in the 11-14 age group and Nicholas Burton in the 7-10 age group (Session 1) and and brother and sister team of Mitchell Blanchard in the 11-14 age group and Kaylee Blanchard in the 7-10 age group (Session 2).  On day two of our event, March 26, 2006 our winners for Session 1 were Danielle Utz in the 11-14 age group and Michael Roscigno in the 7-10 age group.  In Session 2 our winners were Tyler Stawicki in the 11-14 age group and Kevin Higgenbottom in the 7-10 age group.  We would like to congratulate them for winning the contests and we will be seeing them at the State Finals in September.  We would also like to thank Bill Dance and Kevin VanDam for taking time out to take photos with the winners.  Many, many thanks go out to the Clubs for their help and support on this two day event.  They give these kids a great learning experience and also a lot of fun.  Without you this these events couldn’t happen.  Check out the pictures of this years contest.
