OCTOBER 2002 MINUTES
Roll Call: Missing were, Cape Cod, Central Mass, Charles River, Merrimac Landing, Minute Man, Mystic Valley
Secretaries Report: Motion by Green Water, seconded by River Rats
to accept the minutes. Motion passed
Bryan discussed attendance issues with Central Mass. A letter will be written. Mystic Valley is also in violation.
Bryan discussed procedure for updating rosters for next month. Information is attached to minutes, and will
be on-line.
The vote for officers and by-laws was done at this time.
Treasurers Report: Bob talked about transferring funds. Motion by Green Water, seconded by Buzzards. Motion passed
Tournament Report: TOC was held and seemed to go well. Congrats to LaFlamme and Kaprelian!! Tourney lists for 2003 are due to Karl now!
Youth: June 28th is a youth tourney at Niagra for teams of 6 kids for 8 states. Wayne is looking for more youth chapters to come into the Federation.
Conservation Report: Tom Desrosiers has stepped up to take this job. Thanks Tom!!!
Newsletter: Should be out in a couple of days.
Web Site: Major changes in the site. It is presently very big. Should be re-done soon.
Banquet Report: Had to be changed to January. Will be the 2nd or 3rd
Saturday in January. More to come next
month including tickets. They will be
$25 each. Bare Hill already wants 30
tickets!!!! Mike is cooking the sauce!!
Yum Yum!! He intends to keep Bob away
from the meatballs!!
Scholarship: Bryan will take over the scholarship. He will need help selling tickets.
State Team: Team worked very hard in Connecticut. Great job to all especially Ron (Pinky) Matthews who is now the best from Mass and will represent us well at the Nationals!!
Old Business: Trade Show Booth will be here next month. Proof were shown and looked good. Wayne discussed purchasing a camera,. The money has already been allocated, and he will talk to Joe.
New Business: Bob submitted new budget with membership @$30 per person. Motion by Boston, seconded by South Shore to accept the 2003 budget. Motion passed.
Man Of The Year nominations were taken.

Result of elections: All officers retained their present seat. All by-laws passed.
Bass Addicts requested fourth open for next year.
